Creeping Normalcy

Creeping Normalcy O00 tattoo2

In the late 50's and early 60's when I was in the Army I saw few tattoos. In fact I can only recall one soldier with a tattoo on his upper arm, and it was small. I know there must have been more but they were not flaunted as we see done today. Sailors were noted for having a tattoo or so, but again, they were on the small side, rather like Popeye's seen here.
