Highborn Manor

Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

On the edge of town there stands an ostentatious relic of what in times past was the center of high society. Within this manor resides Duke Beauregard Beadle Esq Junior the third and his wife Duchess Hortense. Ah, I see their limousine pulling in the driveway now. Let's go see if we can meet the Beadles.

A Beadle, according to the dictionary, is one who serves as an officer of the church. They are likely to be one of the Elders on the board with the purpose of furthering the needs of the church, and to assist the pastor with his responsibilities. This is the role of the beadle.

But this is not the role the Beadles of Highborn Manor have taken on, as you will see.

Highborn Manor is the sole remaining vestige of what was once a thriving and well-to-do community. Times change, but not so the Beadles. Where there was once fine houses and luxurious mansions, stands..., well, other things. Read on and you will see what life has become for the Beadles of Highborn Manor.

5Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. 6Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time (1Peter 5:)

7Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? (2Cor 19:)
